The Quezon City Police District provided clothing assistance on Friday to residents affected by a residential fire at Machaca Compound in Barangay Culiat, which displaced 406 individuals from 93 families in the early morning of 18 December.
QCPD Acting District Director Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio led personnel from the District Community Affairs and Development Division in distributing clothing at the Barangay Culiat covered court, which served as the evacuation and relief center, later in the afternoon.
The DCADD team, led by Police Lt. Col. Allan Docyogen, officer in charge, also engaged with affected residents to check on their condition, provide reassurance, and offer emotional support as families began recovering from the incident.
Silvio said the activity highlights QCPD’s commitment to providing timely humanitarian assistance, strengthening police-community partnerships, and fulfilling its mission beyond law enforcement, particularly during times of crisis.
