A distressed fishing vessel was rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in the vicinity waters off Sabanagan Point, Subic, Zambales on 11 December.
The PCG vessel BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV-4408) conducted search and rescue operations to fishing vessel FB Goldan (Bagito) with 12 crew (including the boat captain) onboard after it encountered engine trouble.
BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV-4408) immediately proceeded to the area to conduct towing operations.
The fishing vessel is being towed to Subic, Zambales.
