Unabashedly, Vice Ganda made a plea on It’s Showtime for the sake of the contestants the show wanted to help.
"Even if it's embarrassing, I know that I shouldn't be saying this as it lowers the equity and premium of our program and our station, but I am asking help from sponsors, from advertisers. I hope you can help us. This is not for us and for the program only. It is for us to extend our help to more people," Vice Ganda said during the middle of the show.
"As much as we would like to bring so many winners, that we give, that even in the second round we can already give, much as we'd like to, we are in dire financially. We hope you can support us. We are promising that all your help, we will announce all your names. Let's all help so we can help all those who need help," she added.
