19% disposition rate. Is that great? SC says yes.
A nineteen percent disposition rate was reported by the Supreme Court for judicial cases and 27 percent for administrative and bar matters as of 30 September 2025, according to SC spokesperson Atty. Camille L. Ting.
Ting announced this during the SC Meets the Press on Thursday at the Bayleaf Hotel in Intramuros, Manila.
She said the country’s appellate courts also recorded varying levels of case resolution performance as of November 2025.
The Court of Appeals posted a 37 percent disposition rate, while the Sandiganbayan logged 46 percent.
The Court of Tax Appeals, meanwhile, registered a 20 percent disposition rate.
Ting noted that first- and second-level courts, including family courts, continue to address heavy caseloads nationwide. As of 31 October 2025, trial courts disposed of 578,662 cases, equivalent to a 48 percent disposition rate.
The judiciary said it remains committed to improving efficiency and reducing docket congestion through ongoing reforms and digitalization efforts.
