A woman was killed in a shooting incident in Barangay Cupang, Antipolo City early Wednesday morning.
Police said the incident occurred at Purok 5, Zone 8 at around 12:55 a.m.
Initial investigation showed that the victim, identified only as alias Camille, was walking home from Marikina City when two unidentified suspects appeared from behind. For still unknown reasons, one of them shot her once in the head, killing her instantly.
The suspects fled on foot toward a nearby alley after the attack.
Authorities are conducting a follow-up investigation to determine the motive behind the killing and to pursue the immediate arrest of the suspects.
