VinFast strengthened its presence in Indonesia after receiving two major recognitions at The Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards 2025. The company won “Pioneering Brand in Green Transition and Sustainability” and “Compact SUV of the Year” for the VF 7.
The awards highlighted VinFast’s progress in building a complete electric mobility ecosystem for Indonesian consumers.
The efforts covered production, distribution, charging access, after-sales support, and a battery subscription program that aimed to make electric vehicles more attainable for the wider market.
The award for green transition recognized VinFast’s contribution to the country’s shift to clean transportation. The company continued to develop local operations through a nationwide dealer and service network.
VinFast also planned an assembly plant in Subang to support future demand and create new economic opportunities. Partnerships with Green SM and V Green supported the growth of charging infrastructure.
The VF 7 earned its award after receiving positive feedback for its modern design, advanced features, and everyday usefulness in Indonesian road conditions. The model also anchored the company’s wider product range in the country.
At the GAIKINDO Jakarta AutoShow 2025, VinFast presented two new models for the first time in Indonesia. The seven-seat Limo Green received an exclusive preview ahead of its official market launch in March 2026.
The vehicle offered a long wheelbase, generous cabin space, and an LFP battery with a driving range of up to 470 kilometers per charge.
Sales in Vietnam reached 6,500 units after three months on the market. The strong early demand placed the model among the leaders in its segment.
VinFast also displayed the VF Wild concept. The midsize electric pickup featured a panoramic glass roof, digital side mirrors, and an extendable bed that expanded through a folding rear window and folding second row seats.
The company used the showcase to gather feedback on design preferences, expected usage, and suitable pricing for the Indonesian market.
The full lineup at the event included the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF e34 and VF 7. VinFast stated that Indonesia, together with the Philippines, remains one of its most important markets in Southeast Asia.
