Police arrested two drug suspects Friday night and seized approximately P408,000 worth of suspected shabu in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Barangay Fortune.
The suspects, identified as alias Boyet and alias Aldrin, both residents of Marikina City, were apprehended around 6:15 p.m. during a buy-bust operation.
Authorities recovered 60 grams of suspected shabu from the men. The seized evidence included three heat-sealed plastic sachets, one knot-tied plastic bag, and one piece of black bubble wrap, all containing the suspected illegal substance, along with the P500 marked buy-bust money.
Both suspects had prior arrests for illegal drugs. Aldrin had recently been released from prison three months ago after serving a 10-year sentence for a previous drug offense. Boyet was also previously incarcerated for illegal drugs and was released sometime in 2023.
