

The Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office 3 (RFO3) kicked off the 11th ng National Organic Agriculture Month at Barangay Maimpis in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on 24 November 2025.
With the theme “Kabuhayang OA, Kinabukasan OK: Halina’t Kumita sa Organikong Agrikultura!” the celebration was thru the DA’s Regional Organic Agriculture Program (OAP).
DA Regional Executive Director Dr. Eduardo L. Lapuz Jr.; Regional Technical Director for Operations and AMAD Arthur D. Dayrit, Ph.D.; Regional Technical Director for Research Dr. Irene M. Adion; Field Operations Division Chief Elma S. Mañanes; Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division Chief Carmencita S. Nogoy; Regional Agricultural Engineering Division Chief Engr. Elmer Tubig; and Regional Organic Agriculture Focal Person Marie Joy Daguro were all present during the event.
In line with Presidential Proclamation No. 1030, s. 2015, the National Organic Agriculture Month is celebrated every November to establish organic agriculture as a healthy, safe and sustainable option of farming.
The celebration emphasizes the value of organic farming, and encourage farmers to take part in pushing for its long-term development in the agricultural sector. The event showcased organic farming as a sustainable and useful livelihood that provides benefits to the community and environment.
As part of the program, various organic products from the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) Certified Farmers, including the Tarlac Organic Producers (TOP), Organic Farmers of District 6, and National Empowerment and Development Exchange (NEDEX) were showcased.
