After more than a decade away from the recording studio, AiAi Delas Alas is stepping back into the music scene — this time as her alter ego AADA — with the release of her bold and witty new single “Haliparot Delulu.” The track, launched under StarPop, celebrates her 35th year in the entertainment industry, marking both her return to music and a milestone in her illustrious career.
Known as the Philippines’ Queen of Comedy, AiAi is a multi-awarded actress, singer, and TV personality whose artistry has defined generations of Filipino entertainment. She gained nationwide fame for her iconic role as Ina Montecillo in Ang Tanging Ina, one of the highest-grossing Filipino film franchises of all time. Over the years, she has earned top honors including FAMAS, Star Awards, Cinemalaya, and ASEAN International Film Festival awards, while also dominating television with hit shows and comedy specials that showcased her unmatched timing, heart, and humor.
In her latest musical era, AiAi channels her humor and resilience into a song that turns heartbreak into hilarity. “After 11 years — my lucky number — I’m back!” she said, referring to her November 11 birthday. “Haliparot Delulu” is a cheeky, dance-pop anthem that pokes fun at ghosting and romantic “delulu” moments — a playful reminder to laugh, move on, and keep dancing through the chaos of modern love.
Composed by Roque “Rox” Santos and Jonathan Manalo, and arranged by Theo Martel, the track fuses AADA’s unmistakable comedic flair with a catchy pop beat. With this release, AiAi proves once again that her talent and charm are timeless — and that laughter, just like good music, never goes out of style.
“Haliparot Delulu” by AADA is now streaming on all major music platforms.
