Authorities arrested two men wanted for rape in separate operations across the province of Bataan.
Bataan Police Provincial Office provincial director Police Col. Marites A. Salvadora announced the arrests, stating the suspects were apprehended in Mariveles and Dinalupihan.
The Mariveles Municipal Police Station Tracker Team arrested a 22-year-old man on Monday at approximately 3:35 p.m. in the village of Camaya, Mariveles, Bataan. The suspect was served an arrest warrant for two counts of statutory rape and was listed as the Top 4 Most Wanted Person at the provincial level. No bail was recommended for the suspect.
Minutes later, around 3:52 p.m. the same day, Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station personnel apprehended a 30-year-old man in the village of San Ramon, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The suspect was also arrested on a warrant for the crime of rape, with no bail recommended.
