A drug suspect tagged as a street-level individual (SLI) was apprehended during an anti-illegal drugs operation in Antipolo City on Monday night.
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Pre,” is a resident of Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City.
He was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Antipolo Component City Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Team at Sitio Abuyod, Barangay San Jose, around 8:53 p.m.
Seized from him were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 20 grams, with an estimated street value of P136,000, along with P500 in buy-bust money and a coin purse.
The suspect, now detained at the Antipolo Component City Police Station custodial facility, will be charged with violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
