A marker indicating the West Valley Fault is seen at Barangay Pembo in Taguig City on Saturday, 18 October, and serves as a warning to all residents of the hazards of ground rupture and shaking. The 100-kilometer fault traverses the cities in Metro Manila, namely Taguig, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Quezon City, Pasig, Makati, and Marikina.
