TECNO has introduced its latest midrange gaming smartphone, the POVA 7 Pro 5G, aiming squarely at mobile gamers who want flagship-like performance without the high-end price tag.
The POVA 7 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, paired with up to 16GB of extended RAM, allowing it to handle popular titles such as PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings with ease. A 4G version powered by the Helio G100 Ultimate is also available.
The device features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the 5G variant upgrades to a 144Hz AMOLED panel for smoother visuals. TECNO’s Hyper Gaming Engine helps maintain stable performance and temperature during extended gaming sessions.
Battery life remains a key selling point. The POVA 7 Pro 5G is equipped with a large-capacity battery, fast charging, and even wireless charging support, depending on the model.
TECNO has partnered with DITO Telecommunity to bundle the phone with a DITO Unli PUBG Prepaid Gaming SIM, offering gamers optimized 5G connectivity and data packages for uninterrupted play.
While its camera setup remains secondary to its gaming focus, the POVA 7 Pro 5G positions itself as an affordable performance phone that prioritizes speed, display quality, and endurance — core demands for the growing mobile gaming market.
