We joined the Embassy of Morocco in the Philippines at Dusit Thani Hotel Makati to celebrate the 26th Anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s enthronement. It highlights the connection between the monarchy and the people, and the King’s impact in infrastructure, renewable energy, connectivity, and beyond.
It was a grand celebration with a buffet, Moroccan delicacies, and teas, all presented in a beautifully styled room with Moroccan design elements, dinnerware, decor, and even a tent featuring stunning tapestry. We got a taste of Morocco right there! As always, distinguished guests carved out time to be a part of the festivities in their glam. We had a wonderful time catching up, especially with Ambassador El Fassi and his wife, who are sadly marking their last National Day celebration in the Philippines. He was the first resident Ambassador, and he expressed how Filipinos have left a lasting impression with our warmth and generosity. This is no goodbye, only see you around, Ambassador!
Despite the end of this era, I look forward to the future of Philippines and Morocco’s relationship. Thanks for having me. Will always celebrate with you! Besseha!
