Just like a prayer, Queen of Pop Madonna has pleaded to the Most Holy Father to visit Gaza on a humanitarian mission.
In a moving letter posted on social media, Madonna urges Pope Leo XIV to help save the children affected by the ongoing war between Palestinian forces and Israeli soldiers.
"Most Holy Father, please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it’s too late. As a mother, I cannot bear to watch their suffering. The children of the world belong to everyone,” she wrote. “You are the only one of us who cannot be denied entry.”
The American superstar, who was raised as a Catholic, added that the humanitarian gates need to be fully opened to save the innocent children. "There is no more time. Please say you will go," she added.
The short caption of her post, published on her son Rocco's birthday, said that this is the best gift she could give to him as a mother.
"I am not pointing fingers, placing blame or taking sides. Everyone is suffering. Including the mothers of the hostages. I pray that they are released as well. I am merely trying to do what I can to keep these children from dying of starvation," she wrote.
Madonna also tagged several organizations where people can donate to help the children caught in the crossfire.
