James Reid, Issa Pressman expecting baby?

If a pregnant Issa Pressman turns up any day now, the revelation would hardly be a surprise.

It could be the reason her boyfriend actor-singer James Reid recently revealed to ABS-CBN newscaster Karen Davila that his “biggest life goal now is to become a father.”

“That’s taken over my priority list. I want to do it and be very good at it,” Reid blurted to Davila. He credits this shift in mindset to his romance with Pressman, which has been going on since early 2023.

Reid and Pressman are most likely not living-in, an arrangement he seems to be an expert at. He and fellow actor Nadine Lustre lived together from 2016 to 2020, which began when they were both 18 years old. They never kept the arrangement a secret and intentionaly avoided not getting into parenthood as they were both at the prime of their respective showbiz careers.

Reid is now 32 and Pressman is 28. Just a few months ago, he denied talks that he and Pressman are already engaged to be married. A diamond ring spotted by sharp-eyed netizens on one of Pressman’s Instagram posts caused the loose talks about a supposed engagement.

Reid has just signed a management contract with a Korean company, a career move that can lead to international exposure.

Pressman is quite busy as an endorser of international beauty products and treatments. She shares her involvements in her Instagram. The lovers seem to be deliberately avoiding being seen together so they can preserve the independence of their respective careers. And that must also be the reason she and Reid do no live-in. Just friends?
