Castro maintained that the issue was never about hurt feelings but about the conduct displayed during the confrontation.
Bela Padilla's romance for almost five years with her Swiss-Italian boyfriend Norman Ben Bay has gone kaput.
Padilla made the admission during a recent interview where she was promoting her latest movie.
“Sabi ko nga sa pelikula ko dati (As I've said in my movies then), some people are just meant to pass by. Kasi titira na ako dito ulit (because I'm going to live here again),” she said.
“Definitely, one of the biggest factors was my moving back. Hindi rin kasi kami magkasama noon (We were also not together then). Nasa London ako, nasa Switzerland siya. Nahirapan ako. (I'm in London, he's in Switzerland. I found it hard.) LDR (long-distance relationship) na shorter but still LDR,” she explained as the reason for the breakup.
Though separated now, Padilla remained friends with her ex-boyfriend.
“Dumalaw pa sa shooting. He was here and napasyal niya pa buong Pampanga. Hindi na kami noon,” Padilla shared. (He visited our shooting. He was here and he was able to visit the whole Pampanga. We're no longer in a relationship then).
When asked if she is now ready to mingle now that she's single again, Padilla said: “Siguro after I finish promos first. Why not? I love falling in love. I don’t think there is anything wrong with putting yourself out there."
“Kaso 'di na ako marunong mag-date for 2025," she added.
