More than 1,500 residents from eight municipalities in Aurora province received free medical and social services during the “LAB for All” caravan held on 15 July 2025, at the Sen. Edgardo J. Angara Convention Center.
Led by First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos, the initiative aims to strengthen community health and make government services more accessible through free medical consultations, laboratory tests, medicines, and wellness care.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), represented by Director Imelda Papin, actively participated in the event. Dir. Papin also serenaded attendees with her popular songs, adding a festive atmosphere to the caravan.
Under the supervision of PCSO OIC-Branch Head Marites Dela Cruz, the agency distributed 1,500 ChariTimba containing rice, noodles, and canned goods. Among the recipients was “Nanay Clarita,” who personally received her food pack from the First Lady and Dir. Papin.
PCSO also turned over a check to Aurora Governor Reynante Tolentino amounting to P244,738.59, representing the share of the province and its municipalities from lotto shares in Aurora.
In her message, the First Lady emphasized that “LAB for All” reflects the Marcos administration’s commitment to compassionate governance. “It is vital to bring medical services closer to the people. Affordable healthcare is key to inclusive leadership and improving the quality of life for every Filipino,” she said.
PCSO reaffirmed its continued support for the “LAB for All” initiative, which seeks to deliver inclusive and accessible healthcare services to communities across the country.
