Princess Talita Natasha von Fürstenberg, professionally known as Talita von Fürstenberg, announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Rocco Brignone de Brabant on Friday.
The 26-year-old granddaughter of iconic Belgian fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg and Prince Egon von Fürstenberg is now engaged to the 24-year-old banker after six years of dating.
Talita shared the romantic moment on Instagram with the caption :
"Forever!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you so much my heart is bursting."
Her 78-year-old grandmother, DVF, also expressed her joy, highlighting the stunning diamond ring.
“Talita and Rocco are ENGAGED !!! He proposed …. She accepted! Join me in wishing them a happy, joyful life together. LOVE is LIFE,” she wrote, with multiple heart and prayer emojis.
Jeweller Laura Taylor described the ring as “distinctive,” according to Hello! magazine.
"Talita's ring features a round brilliant diamond in a Georgian-style cut-down setting, with a blackened white-gold bezel and a yellow gold simple band," she explained."It’s very distinctive and likely the work of Jessica McCormack, who also designed Zendaya’s engagement ring."
Taylor estimated the value of the ring, saying:
“If it’s a natural stone of high quality, the ring could be worth between £200,000 and £300,000, depending on the final carat weight, clarity, and colour.”
Several royals extended their congratulations to the couple, including Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece and Denmark, and Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, who commented, “Congratulations to you both,” followed by heart and evil eye emojis (used to protect against the evil eye).
