Why Joaquin Arce apologized

Right after signing up with Star Magic as its new roster of talents, newly-minted Star Magic artists Carmella Ford, Inigo Jose, Michelle Garcia, Ice Almeria, Mitra Sisters, Joaquin Arce, Christof Sommeraux and Angelina Cruz were presented in a Q &A segment.

One question that got the loudest cheers was a query on their celebrity crushes.

Arce, son of producer Neil Arce and stepson of Angel Locsin, bravely answered the question with unspeakable chutzpah. 

“I would like to start this with an apology. I’m sorry, Angelina, pero si Miss Sunshine Cruz po (ang crush ko),” he said, which drew the wildest reaction from the media present 

When asked for a reaction, Sunshine’s daughter, Angelina, quipped: “He never told me that. I would have gotten him a video greeting.”
