
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police arrested a high-value drug suspect and an accomplice Tuesday, seizing approximately 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million during a buy-bust operation.
The joint operation was carried out by the Porac Municipal Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit and the Pampanga Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.
Authorities identified the arrested individuals as “Dacula,” a high-value target, and “Acmad,” both residents of Barangay Anupul, Bamban, Tarlac.
Police confiscated the suspected shabu, nine marked P500 bills and 91 pieces of P500 boodle money used in the transaction.
The suspects and seized items are in custody at the Porac Municipal Police Station, pending charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police Regional Office 3 regional director, Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., lauded the operatives.
“This arrest sends a strong message to all those who continue to engage in the illegal drug trade — PRO3 is relentless and will not rest until every community in Central Luzon is safe from the scourge of illegal drugs,” Peñones said in a statement.
“I commend the personnel of Porac MPS and Pampanga PPO for their dedication and vigilance. Let this serve as a warning that we are watching, and we will act swiftly,” he added.
The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) also announced the arrest of three other high-value individuals and the seizure of over P725,560 worth of suspected shabu in separate operations across Zambales and Nueva Ecija.
On Monday night, operatives from the Castillejos Municipal Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit, Zambales 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Provincial Intelligence Unit conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Del Pilar, Castillejos, Zambales.
The operation led to the arrest of “Steve,” identified as a high-value individual, and “Son,” both residents of Barangay Del Pilar. Authorities confiscated approximately 55.5 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P377,400.
