NASUGBU, Batangas — A 30-year-old man listed as a regional-level most wanted person was arrested in a manhunt operation conducted by Tagaytay City police in Nasugbu, Batangas, on Sunday, 8 November.

According to the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO), the suspect, identified only as alias “Andy,” is a resident of Tagaytay City, Cavite, and is facing a rape charge under Article 266-A, paragraph 1(a), of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353, or the Anti-Rape Law of 1997.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Daniel L. Camposo, chief of the Tagaytay Component City Police Station, said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued on 26 October 2026 by the Family Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 3, in Tagaytay City.

The warrant indicated that no bail was recommended for the offense.

Police said the suspect was informed of the reason for his arrest and advised of his constitutional rights before being brought to the Tagaytay City Police Station custodial facility for documentation and proper disposition.

Authorities said the warrant would be returned to the issuing court as part of the required legal procedures.
