SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga — Authorities arrested a high-value individual and two other suspects, seizing an estimated P544,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation Sunday evening in Barangay Maimpis.
The Pampanga Police Provincial Office reported that joint operatives from the San Fernando City Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 3 apprehended the three individuals.
Police identified the suspects as alias Kutil, a pedicab driver and resident of Barangay Maimpis; alias Jomar and alias Otep.
Approximately 80 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated during the operation. All suspects and the recovered evidence were taken to the San Fernando City Police Station.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing.
