In a smartphone landscape dominated by bulky “flagships,” the vivo X200 FE makes an audacious statement: you don’t need to go big to go all out. This is vivo’s first compact telephoto flagship — and frankly, it’s the one to beat in 2025.
I’ve reviewed my fair share of vivo phones (the last being the Y29, which I called “built for the hustle, powered for the play”), but the X200 FE delivers something more ambitious. In partnership with ZEISS, this device rewrites what “compact” can mean.
At 6.31 inches, the X200 FE fits beautifully in your hand, and more importantly, in your pocket. The aerospace-grade metal frame is featherlight but durable. The Metallic Sand anti-glare finish on both Blue Breeze and Black Luxe colorways gives the phone a premium, grainy texture that resists smudges and scratches.
The ZEISS Color Master Display, which features 1800-nit high brightness mode, 5000-nit local peak brightness, and 460 PPI display, offers vibrant visuals under any light. Whether I’m watching YouTube (which I admittedly do a lot — thank you, premium) or using it one-handed on the go, the eye-care certified screen with 2160Hz PWM dimming makes binge sessions strain-free.
This is where the X200 FE truly soars. The 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera delivers stunning clarity — even when zoomed in up to 100x. I used it at a live event and easily snapped crisp photos from the back of the venue. No grain. No lag. Just pro-level zoom and detail.
Pair that with the 50MP ZEISS VCS Bionic Main Camera, co-developed with Sony, and a 50MP Ultra HD front camera, and you’ve got a triple-threat setup that’s every content creator’s dream.
Low-light performance? Outstanding. The night mode pulled detail out of scenes even I couldn’t see clearly with the naked eye.
Portraits? Even better. With ZEISS Multifocal Portraits at 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm, I could switch from expressive closeups to wide, story-telling scenes, all with cinematic bokeh powered by ZEISS Style Bokeh and Film Style Live Portrait.
The AI Image Studio adds pro editing tools with a single tap. Magic Move lets you move subjects around. Image Expander extends your photo’s background. Reflection Erase removes pesky glare and windows.
Stage Mode is perfect for concerts or night markets, and Street Photography Mode lets you snap moments lightning-fast — even with the screen off.
With the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset and Heterogeneous Computing 2.0, the phone handles multitasking, gaming, and video editing effortlessly. It’s fast. Like, blink-and-it’s-done fast.
But what really blew me away is the 6500mAh BlueVolt battery. I didn’t charge the phone for four straight days. I fell asleep watching a YouTube video, woke up still watching a video I have absolutely no idea about. Even then, 90W FlashCharge got me to full in under an hour.
A quick use breakdown: 7.6 days on standby, 51 hours on music, 25+ hours on YouTube, nearly 10 hours for gaming.
That’s insane for a phone this thin.
I’m the kind of person who brings their phone into the bathroom (don’t judge), so I was thrilled by the IP69 water resistance. This means you can literally shower with this phone playing music or Netflix, and it’s still safe. The SGS triple protection, military-grade certification, and Gorilla Shield glass make this a true road warrior.
Running on Funtouch OS, the X200 FE comes with AI-enhanced features like Gemini Circle to Search, Smart Call Assistant, and Double Protection that blocks spam and unknown numbers. There’s even screen sharing protection, so your personal data stays yours.
Compact does not equate compromise.
The vivo X200 FE is a beautiful device. It’s smart, reliable, powerful, and creative — crafted for pragmatic tech lovers, content creators, and everyday users who demand top-tier performance without the bulk.
From its ZEISS optics to its 100x zoom, massive battery, and water resistance, this phone is built to handle everything — without weighing you down.
Compact doesn’t mean less anymore. It means smarter. And with the vivo X200 FE, it means better.
You can get the vivo X200 FE now for Php 44,999 in vivo concept stores and kiosks nationwide or online via vivo e-store.
