Three drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal, just before midnight on Monday.
Authorities identified the suspects only by their aliases: Popoy, Anthony, and Makmak. They were caught by the Binangonan Municipal Police Station’s drug enforcement unit around 11:58 PM.
Recovered from the suspects were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 2.74 grams, with an estimated standard drug price of P18,632.
Also confiscated were a black coin purse, three P100 bills, a red Vivo cellphone, a black backpack, an improvised firearm (locally known as sumpak), two live rounds of ammunition, and two genuine P100 bills used as buy-bust money.
The suspects are currently detained at the Binangonan Municipal Police custodial facility.
