Kapuso actor Paul Salas found himself at the center of an unexpected viral moment during a recent live performance in Brooke’s Point, Palawan—when a seemingly harmless seat mix-up resulted in a fan taking a tumble. The incident, caught on video and swiftly circulated on TikTok, showed Paul mistakenly using a chair that had briefly been vacated by a fan, unknowingly setting the stage for a comedic—albeit painful—moment.
The video showed the actor in high spirits, grabbing a chair to enhance his performance. Unbeknownst to him, the seat he took belonged to a fan who had just stepped away after snapping a selfie. Paul climbed onto the chair to continue entertaining the crowd, but moments later, the fan, unaware her seat was gone, tried to sit—and fell straight to the floor.
While the moment prompted laughter online, it also sparked concern. Paul didn’t waste time responding with sincerity, warmth, and a bit of self-deprecating humor.
“Hindi naman kasi sa’kin ang upuan, kuha ako ng kuha. Pasensya, minamahal kong binibini, at hindi ko napansin eh upuan mo pala ’yun. Bawi ako sa’yo. I love you!!!” he posted, assuring everyone that the fan was okay.
He ended his message with a playful reminder:
“Wag kasi magpa-fall kay Paul, deliks! Aray ko!”
The post, paired with his lighthearted tone and genuine concern, was met with positivity and laughter from fans, many of whom praised him for owning up to the mishap. Others were quick to joke that even a fall couldn’t keep fans from swooning over Paul.
The incident, while accidental, served as a sweet—and slightly clumsy—reminder of how unpredictable live performances can be. But thanks to Paul’s quick apology and humility, the fall turned into a viral moment of connection, laughter, and grace under pressure.
