
Two fugitives facing charges of statutory rape were arrested in separate police operations in Bulacan and Zambales on June 27, according to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
In Bulacan, the Tracker Team of Santa Maria Municipal Police Station arrested 40-year-old Crisanto Leonardo y Sigua, a butcher from Barangay Poblacion. He was apprehended based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge April Anne M. Turqueza-Pabellar of Family Court Branch 6, Third Judicial Region, Santa Maria, Bulacan. The warrant, filed under Criminal Case No. 64-STM-2025, recommended no bail.
On the same day in Zambales, San Antonio Municipal Police, working alongside the Maritime Law Enforcement Team (MLET), arrested Eduardo Frondarina y Batinga, a 68-year-old musician from Barangay San Juan, San Antonio. He was apprehended in Barangay Rizal based on a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maribel F. Mariano-Beltran of Family Court Branch 13, Iba, Zambales, dated June 19, 2025. His warrant also carried no bail.
Both suspects were read their constitutional rights and are now under police custody for proper disposition.
