CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — A suspected thief was arrested after an Airpods tracker device yielded his location inside a barber shop at the Agora public Market Wednesday afternoon.

Report from the Agora community precinct said the suspect had sneaked into a room in the boarding house and took away personal belongings from a border in Panikitan, barangay Camamanan, early Wednesday.

The victim reported that an unidentified suspect sneaked into his room in the boarding house and took away his personal belongings including the Airpods, cellphone and wallet.

A review of CCTV footage showed that the suspect casually entered the gate of the boarding house and left with the bag allegedly containing his loot.

Police operatives with the help of the victim activated the tracker and traced the suspect inside a barber shop in Agora Market and recovered the stolen items.
