Adhesive firm Bostik Philippines has introduced El Heneral All-Purpose Epoxy, a new two-component adhesive designed for quick repairs, home improvement, and various projects.
The company said El Heneral is a powerful epoxy that can bond a wide array of materials, including concrete, metal, PVC, glass, ceramics, and porcelain. It can be used for tasks such as fixing cracked pottery, assembling wooden materials, and securing metal parts into concrete.
Bostik highlighted El Heneral's strong grip, capable of holding materials together under heavy loads, and its smooth application, which aims to make projects fast and efficient.
Once dried, El Heneral creates a bond that toughens the joined surfaces, making them resistant to cracking. The company also stated that the bond is resistant to water, most acids, and alkaline substances, contributing to the longevity of repairs and builds.
According to Bostik, El Heneral is easy to use, requiring users to mix equal parts of Part A and Part B until a uniform color is achieved. After a five-minute waiting period, the mixture is ready for application, providing about an hour of working time. The company advises users to mix only the amount that can be used within that hour to avoid waste.
"We understand the needs of our Filipino customers who face unique challenges when doing home repairs and builds. We’re eager to help them tackle their projects efficiently with a product that delivers durability and reliability," said Fides Kasman, Market Development director for Bostik.
