Communities across Davao Oriental are set to improve their emergency medical services, following the donation of seven Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to the province's local government units.
PCSO Director Imelda Papin, Assistant General Manager Arnel Casas, and Mindanao Department Manager Ellyn Ostan led the turnover ceremony on 6 May 2025, at the provincial capitol covered court in Mati, Davao Oriental.
This initiative benefits the city of Mati and the municipalities of Baganga, Banaybanay, Cateel, Caraga, Lupon, and Tarragona, ensuring that more communities can efficiently respond to medical emergencies.
PCSO’s PTV donation program continues to uphold its mission of providing essential support to underserved areas, reinforcing the country’s healthcare system one ambulance at a time.
