Police in Muntinlupa City have arrested a high-value drug offender in an operation conducted in Barangay Tunasan, authorities said Thursday.
Operatives apprehended alias “Ronyl,” identified as the ninth most wanted person at the station level, around 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday along Centennial Avenue, Laguerta Street, in the city.
According to a report received by Police Col. Robert C. Domingo, chief of police, the warrant and subpoena unit served a warrant issued by Hon. Philip Acosta Aguinaldo, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 207 in Muntinlupa City.
The warrant was for a violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), docketed under Criminal Case No. 22-1016 for service of sentence.
