Police officers from the Tanay Municipal Police Station arrested the most wanted person in Rizal at around 2:20 PM on 1 June in San Roque, Antipolo City.
The suspect, identified only as "Alias Raul," 46 years old, is a former member of the Philippine Army and a resident of Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal.
He was apprehended based on a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 79 in Morong, Rizal. The charges include two counts of qualified rape, which are non-bailable; two counts of qualified rape by sexual assault with a P200,000 bail set for each count; two counts of acts of lasciviousness under Republic Act 7610, also with a P200,000 bail each; and one count of rape by sexual assault with a bail of P180,000.
According to the victim, "Alias Mica," the suspect's 21-year-old daughter, the abuse began in her childhood and most recently occurred on 4 June of last year.
The suspect is currently in police custody at the Tanay Municipal Police Station and will undergo due legal proceedings.
