Cancer often casts a dark shadow, but the EPCALM Foundation has been a beacon of hope and healing for adult leukemia patients and their loved ones. For two decades, this pioneering non-profit has provided comprehensive support — medical, financial, spiritual and emotional — demonstrating that no one must confront this battle alone.

EPCALM celebrated its milestone year by bringing together titans of music and purpose for an unforgettable night. Held last 2 May at the Solaire Resort North in Quezon City.

Martin Nievera, known as the Concert King, headlined the star-studded dinner concert, featuring OPM legends Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez and Top Suzara. The King of Talk, Boy Abunda, successfully presented the night, bringing heartfelt insights and compassion to the stage.

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, who also serves on the EPCALM Honorary Board of Trustees, offered a meaningful video tribute acknowledging the organization’s long-standing effect.

“EPCALM has become a home, a sanctuary and a source of light of adult leukemia patients and their families in the country during their dark and challenging journey,” she said.

Martin Nievera, EPCALM’s Goodwill Ambassador, wrote and performed the original song “Hold On,” which was the night’s highlight. The powerful song, packed with messages of strength, compassion and faith, was created specifically for EPCALM and the people it serves.

EPCALM understands that a leukemia diagnosis extends beyond the individual patient, it is committed to offering practical assistance and support, ensuring no one faces this fight alone.

The fundraiser was also an occasion to present the EPCALM Board of Trustees, as well as the Honorary Board, which included Wellington Soong, Tessa Prieto, Pinky Antonio, Nikki Tang, Ruby Chua and Linda Ley, among others.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the adult leukemia patients and their families serviced by EPCALM, which provides personalized and family-oriented programs and services through its spiritual, medical and financial service arms.
