CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan — Police personnel assigned to election duties in Bataan began casting their absentee votes on Monday at the provincial police headquarters here.
Col. Marites A. Salvadora, provincial police director, led the start of the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE) Local Absentee Voting at the Post Conference Room in Camp Tolentino, Balanga City. Voting began at 8 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m. daily through 30 April.
A total of 59 personnel from the Bataan Police Provincial Office participated in the first day of absentee voting.
The activity is in line with Republic Act 7166 and Commission on Elections Resolution 10920, which allow government officials and personnel, including police officers assigned to election duties, to cast their votes early through the Local Absentee Voting system.
Col. Salvadora said the Bataan PNP remains committed to ensuring its personnel can exercise their right to vote while fulfilling their election-related duties.
