Director Paul Basinillo is once again bringing his bold creative vision to the spotlight. This 1 and 2 May, he leads the much-anticipated Section E Nation, a two-day fan event at the New Frontier Theater, offering fans of the digital hit "Mutya ng Section E" an unforgettable live experience.

"'Mutya ng Section E' has been a runaway success on Viva One, and now we’re giving the fans something even bigger — the chance to meet, interact, and experience their favorite characters live," says Direk Paul. "It’s important for me, as a director, to create not just an event, but a full emotional experience for the fans."

Section E Nation promises an immersive spectacle, featuring surprise performances by the all-star cast, live renditions of the show’s popular soundtrack, and intimate moments where fans can see their idols both in character and as themselves. Designed specifically for this passionate fandom, the event is already generating overwhelming demand, with discussions underway about moving to a larger venue to accommodate more attendees.

"As of now, we’re full, and we want to give everyone a chance to be part of this special moment," Direk Paul shares.

Beyond Section E Nation, Direk Paul’s calendar is packed with even bigger events. He is set to co-direct the Manila concert of international pop group 98 Degrees, happening on 30 and 31 May at the MOA Arena. He is also leading the creative direction for the Closing Ceremonies of the UAAP, hosted by his alma mater, the University of the Philippines. The UAAP opening ceremonies, headlined by the legendary Eraserheads, set a historic standard — one Direk Paul is ready to match for the season finale.

In addition to these marquee projects, Direk Paul is also developing a personal project while collaborating with a new generation of artists, including Amiel Sol, GAT, Earl Augustin, and rising star Rabin Angeles, for new music, videos, and commercial productions.
