BAGUIO CITY — The provincial government of Pangasinan is alerting the public about a Facebook post that falsely instructs people on how to download and print cards to access benefits from its healthcare program without proper enrollment.
Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III stated that the purported download links for printing Government Unified Incentives for Medical Consultations (GUICONSULTA) cards are unauthorized and fake.
GUICONSULTA is a provincial government program launched in 2022 as a counterpart to PhilHealth’s Konsulta program, an outpatient initiative that began in 2020.
Guico urged the public not to download, use, or share the fake download links or cards, emphasizing that the provincial government handles the official distribution.
He warned that individuals spreading these links and fake cards will face legal consequences.
Guico also appealed to the public to report any suspicious activities or individuals involved in this scheme.
“Let us support programs that genuinely care for the health of every Pangasinense,” he said.
