Alden Richards is shifting gears — literally. The "Hello, Love, Again" actor is pedaling into a new passion as he officially embraces his cycling era, offering fans a glimpse into his latest fitness pursuit via Instagram.
Clad in full cycling gear and posing confidently beside a sleek white road bike, Alden marked the beginning of this exciting chapter with a simple but meaningful caption, “Another era begins.”
Known for regularly sharing snippets of his fitness routine with millions of followers, the actor’s latest posts show he’s not just riding for fun — he’s embracing a lifestyle rooted in endurance, discipline, and wellness.
In one clip, Alden is seen cruising down an open road, clearly enjoying the ride while monitoring his stats — an image of both focus and joy. It’s evident that cycling has become more than just a hobby for the Kapuso heartthrob; it’s the latest expression of his commitment to health and personal growth.
Support from friends and fans poured in. Fellow actor Paulo Avelino cheered him on with a spirited “Let’s go,” while host Iya Villania playfully commented, “Naaaaaks!! From runner to cyclist.”
Celebrity fitness coach Mauro Lumba even joked, “Tama na ’yan Sir. Lumalakas ka na masyado,” in response to Alden’s growing strength and stamina.
("That's enough, Sir. You're becoming too powerful.")
Earlier this year, Alden opened up to GMA News about his running journey, sharing how the sport has helped him maintain both his physical and mental well-being.
“Actually, marami naman talagang sports na pwedeng makatulong sa ating kalusugan, pero I think isa ’yung pinaka-available at pinakamadaling gawin is really ’yung pagtakbo,” he explained.
("Actually, there are really many sports that can help improve our health, but I think one of the most accessible and easiest to do is really running.")
But running has evolved into more than just a physical activity for him. “Number one reason niya is for my sanity talaga. Medyo psychological na ’yung effect sa akin ng running… it’s a different world for me.”

Now, that world is expanding to include cycling. And as Alden rides into this new chapter, one thing is clear: whether he’s running or riding, he’s moving forward — stronger, focused, and fully in control of his wellness journey.
