A WHOLE NEW WORLD

“A whole new world,” as Princess Jasmine and aladdin belt out together on the magic carpet ride. We can all be singing along now as you read this, especially with such chaotic transformative changes happening in our world, affecting us all.

“As above, so below; as within, so without” is the wisdom saying that highlights how cosmic energies that affect our everyday lives. Astrology views the cosmos as a meaningful system where the position and movements of celestial bodies reflect and influence human and natural events.

At its core, astrology embraces the idea that the universe is interconnected, with patterns in the sky mirroring patterns on Earth. Cosmic symbols in the sky tell about the unseen energies that affect us both personally and collectively. The three-dimensional world that we see is created by unseen energetic forces that emanate not just from the cosmos but from each of us, too.

Up there, each planet moves at a certain frequency, just as each one of us has our own personal energy fields that vibrate at different rates per our thoughts, emotions and overall well-being. Ever wonder how one person can be so positive, loving and cheerful while another is so stressed, fearful or ill?

So just look at our world crisis (on all fronts — personal, environmental, geopolitical etc.) escalating. This reflects the spirit of the times, a consciousness of man that is dark, lost, angry, violent, confused and devoid of the Divine Spirit. What we see erupting is the collective shadow and inner struggle that humanity is undergoing.

We need to reboot our paradigms. We need to re-channel our mindsets. And the Universe knows this. We better know this, too (pardon to all who believe otherwise per their religious beliefs): that it’s not just some angry wrathful God up there bringing all the wars, climate changes and Nature’s turmoil. It’s ours/humanity’s collective cathartic shadows being brought to light to be cleansed.

Death of an old world

I have been reading about the movement of the stars for close to 40 years, tracking the energetic patterns against global changes. What has been uniquely happening is the death of an old world rooted in a materialistic paradigm.

Since the global shake-up of Covid, Pluto, the planet representing deep transformation, has been breaking all forms of institutions as it traversed the constellation of Capricorn (representing institutions and tradition). All institutional structure must be broken and forced to innovate as they do not serve humanity’s purpose in their present states. Legal, Medical, Academic, Enterprise, Financial, Religious, Societal… ALL.

All have undergone extreme eruptions and continued transitions marked by chaos: in the geopolitical sphere, through currency wars, technology, faith and ethics. (On the side, a friend asked me, “Will Trump finish his term?” My response, the Universe will only take him away once he fulfills his mission — to break the old systems that do not help or support humanity). The global chaos happening is a necessity for our collective awakening to shift, accelerate and innovate towards sustainable directions for the planet, and our own lives.

Never has there been more dramatic patterns happening since last year in 2024, which I called “the bridge year” of evolutionary acceleration. Last year was about dropping illusions and opening up to global consciousness. The year 2024 was bridging us to truly turbulent wild, exciting times happening now in 2025 until 2027.

A new era

So, you see, 2025 is actually not just a new year, but a NEW ERA. We started on 26 January 2025, with a rare celestial pattern. Six planets moved into an “arc-like” parade alignment.

They were Venus (ruling love and finances), Mars (ruling war, action and aggression), Jupiter (ruling expansion and spirituality, Saturn (ruling difficulty, discipline and mastery), Uranus (ruling crisis and wild awakenings) and Neptune (ruling illusions, fake news and the unseen dimensions) with Mercury ruling communications) that joined end February.

This was really exciting for astronomers and sky watchers, also because it was happening after Pluto had moved into the sign of Aquarius and really begins the entry into the “Age of Aquarius” (more on this in succeeding articles).

What it meant for us all was to align own energy centers (chakras), plus our thoughts and intentions with the Universal Will of the Creator. It was a forthright invitation to unplug from a deteriorating material world and plug into the Universe and embrace the power there. It is a power that each and every one of us can harness. This is when we begin to understand the principle that alignment with the Universal Creative Force/God gives us a power to truly manifest and create the higher positive life and world we want.

Remember, what is within us is reflected outside. What flows from above flows down below. All are connected. The gift of these rare alignments on the energetic level is manifestation at its most potent state.

New beginnings and revelations

Be open because the auspicious energies happening at present are precisely to awaken, expand, and elevate our consciousness. Planets aligning next to each other brings their unique energies to the mix, creating laser beam-like energies. This is why so many are feeling so fatigue, so confused. Others, meanwhile, are excited and aware. Let’s watch our central nervous system as this will be the most crucial thing we must take care of to balance our body-heart-mind-spirit. The energies are already intense. They will intensify even more.

As you read this, watch everything speed up from here on. Never yet in our lifetimes have five outer and slower moving planets ALL move signs together in one year. This year, they do: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. It’s a new era and a whole new world transforming as we likewise transform along. These symbolize new beginnings and revelations.

The exhilaration of Princess Jasmine, and the excitement of Aladdin is how we must see these changes happening around us. Crazy though they may be, the vantage point we must take is not fear, but excitement, that something new is being born as the remnants of the old drop away.

I feel this sense of exhilaration as I am back with a regular column, in a time of great transition. Allow me to open your minds and bring you into different worlds that may oppose, and not make sense to each other in their differences.

Through this column, I hope to overcome the divides between cultures and perspectives, different fields of knowledge, realities and even dimensions unseen. Wouldn’t it be nice to navigate the times with fresh new eyes, and a paradigm shift to see the world and the cosmos as spiritually, energetically, vibratingly and magnetically alive?

We are in a magical time where we have the opportunity to create a whole new world.
