It’s been a year of transformation, new beginnings, and personal growth for model and social media influencer Maureen Wroblewitz, who recently marked one year since relocating from the Philippines to Southern California.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, she looked back on her journey and shared how life has unfolded since making the bold move.

Though she never officially announced her departure at the time, Maureen revealed that her quiet exit was intentional as she focused on embracing a major life shift.

“It’s been a little over a year since I moved here,” she shared, reflecting on how her transition began with a TikTok post during the early stages of her move.

Leaving behind a comfortable and familiar life, Maureen recounted the excitement and uncertainty that came with starting over.

“Before I moved, I told a friend how I was excited to leave my comfortable life behind and start again… it has definitely not been easy,” she admitted. “But I do have a habit of getting out of my comfort zone to grow as a person.”

Throughout her time in California, she has formed deep friendships, connected with family she didn’t know she had in SoCal, and embraced the ups and downs of building a new life.

Her experience, she said, has taught her the value of facing fears head-on. “I really encourage y’all to do something that scares you because it’ll always be worth it in the end,” she added.
