A fundraising concert has been set for Allan Mitchell “Daddy A” Silonga, musician and founder of IV of Spades.
Daddy A, father of Blaster Silonga and member of the bands Daddy’s Home and K24/7, is in need of a kidney transplant. The simple fundraising effort quickly turned into an all-out call to action, with bands, production companies, labels, and creatives coming together to answer the call.
Lineup includes Ben&Ben, Gloc-9, Moira, Moonstar88, Sandwich, Gracenote, Halina, 6 Cycle Mind, Lily, Tanya Markova, Imago, Dilaw, Jikamarie, Kiyo, Legit Misfitz, Lola Amour, Morobeats, One Click Straight, Over October, Shanni and Sugarcane.
The organizers also teased the possibility of IV of Spades performing. The band went on hiatus in 2020.
“Every ticket sold brings Daddy A closer to healing—and proves that when music speaks, it speaks louder together. This time, the scene isn’t just making noise. It’s making a difference,” the organizers said in a statement.
DaddyAid, a rare and powerful reminder of what happens when an entire industry unites — not for fame, but for family, will be on 25 May at the Marikina Sports Center. Tickets are available at the official link.
