Kendra Aguirre navigates teen life in debut EP 'Life These Days'

Remember Kendra Aguirre, the powerhouse vocalist who won on "The Voice Teens Philippines" Season 2? Get ready to dive deeper into her artistry because she's just dropped her debut extended play (EP), Life These Days, and it's a heartfelt snapshot of adolescence in all its messy glory.

This mini album isn't holding back, tackling those universal teenage experiences of first love jitters, the sting of heartbreak, and that oh-so-familiar feeling of being utterly lost in the maze of life. Kendra penned all five tracks herself — Life These Days, Stuck, Call, Crazy Over You, and Gagaan Na Muli — with Josh Angan lending his production magic.

Kendra took to Instagram to share her excitement, saying, "Younger me would never believe that the song she wrote about her crush, her first heartbreak at 16, and the other songs she wrote alone in her room in front of her piano would be released. I hope that they will resonate with everyone who gives this EP a chance to be heard and have them felt heard and understood in return." How cool is that?

The EP's focus track, Stuck, really hits you right in the feels.
