President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. administered the oath-taking of the newly appointed Members of Parliament in the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) on Monday, 24 March 2025, at Heroes Hall, Malacañan Palace. The President also joined the Grand Iftar, demonstrating solidarity with the Bangsamoro community as they observe the Holy Month of Ramadhan.
Joining the President were BTA Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua, BTA Speaker Ali Pangalian Marohom Balindong, Special Assistant to the President Antonio Lagdameo Jr., Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPPAPRU) Secretary Carlito Galvez, Minister Mohagher Iqbal, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla, and Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Ameenah Pangandaman, among others.
