David Licauco, the Kapuso star known for his acting talent and entrepreneurial spirit, recently revealed his highest annual earnings, underscoring his success in both showbiz and business. In a candid interview with Izkul of Diskarte (IOD) on TikTok, Licauco disclosed that his peak annual income reached around P50 million.

During the interview, IOD asked Licauco about his most profitable year, prompting a series of guesses. Starting with an estimate of P10 million, which Licauco quickly dismissed as “higher siguro,” IOD gradually increased the amount. Even a guess of P30 million fell short, leading to the final question: “50 [million]?” Licauco confirmed, “Somewhere there,” acknowledging the impressive figure.

Licauco attributes his financial success to a combination of his acting career and his thriving business ventures. He revealed that he reinvests his earnings from showbiz into his businesses, demonstrating a strong grasp of financial management. “Reckless ako when it comes to investing. I think I'm at a stage in my life where I take calculated risks,” he explained, emphasizing his proactive approach to growing his wealth.

The actor-entrepreneur’s business portfolio includes multiple branches of “Kuya Korea” and “Sobra Cafe,” both of which contribute significantly to his income. This diversified approach reflects Licauco's ambition and sharp business acumen.

Fresh from his role in the GMA Prime series Pulang Araw, Licauco is set to return to the big screen in the upcoming film Samahan ng mga Makasalanan, scheduled for release in Philippine cinemas on 19 April.
