MU Philippines '25 coronation night set for 2 May at Mall of Asia Arena

The countdown has officially begun for the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2025 coronation night, with organizers announcing the date and venue.

The highly anticipated event is set for 6 p.m. on 2 May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, as revealed in a post on MUPH's social media pages on Thursday. Ticketing details will be shared soon.

This year's MUPH edition is being called the "puksaan" (annihilation) edition, thanks to the intense competition among an impressive roster of contenders.

The current batch features a mix of rising stars and experienced beauty queens, including Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez, Miss Earth Air 2023 Yllana Aduana, Miss International 2018 first runner-up Athisa Manalo, and former Binibining Pilipinas Globe Chelsea Fernandez.

MUPH 2025 marks the first under the direction of newly appointed national director Ariella Arida, who took over from Shamcey Supsup. Both Arida and Supsup made notable marks in their Miss Universe careers, with Arida placing third runner-up in 2013 and Supsup in 2011.

Meanwhile, the upcoming coronation night of Miss Universe is scheduled for 21 November 2025, at the Impact Arena in Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. For viewers in the United States, it will be broadcast live on the evening of 20 November.
