SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo to enlist in military service this April
Published on

SEVENTEEN's Wonwoo is set to begin his mandatory military service on 3 April 2025, PLEDIS Entertainment announced today. This news brings a mix of anticipation and support from fans, known as CARATs, worldwide.

According to the official statement, Wonwoo will be unable to participate in SEVENTEEN's scheduled activities following his enlistment. This includes the highly anticipated Tecate Pa'l Norte 2025 festival and the Japan fanmeeting in April.

However, CARATs can still look forward to seeing Wonwoo in upcoming content. He will be participating in the "SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND" concert, scheduled for 20-21 March, and will also feature in various pre-recorded materials.

PLEDIS Entertainment has emphasized that there will be no official event on the day of Wonwoo's enlistment. They respectfully request fans to refrain from visiting the site of his alternative military service, ensuring a smooth and private process. Instead, they encourage fans to send their support and well wishes through the Weverse platform.

The agency has assured fans that they will provide Wonwoo with all the necessary support during his service and have asked for continued love and support until his safe and healthy return.

This announcement marks a significant moment for both Wonwoo and SEVENTEEN. While his absence will be felt, CARATs are rallying together to show their unwavering support, demonstrating the strong bond between the artist and his fans.
