The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has partnered with the Department of Tourism (DoT) to improve service standards in the aviation and tourist industries in the Caraga Region through the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training Workshop.
DoT Caraga Regional Director Ivonnie Dumagdag and CAAP Area Center 12 manager Junelito Abrazado met last Tuesday (25 February) to talk about the yearly training workshop that aims to enhance the overall travel experience for both domestic and foreign visitors while highlighting the Filipino hospitality that makes the nation unique.
According to the CAAP, this collaboration demonstrates both organizations’ commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that visitors enjoy a seamless and welcoming experience.
In his appreciation for the collaboration, CAAP Director General Captain Manuel Antonio Tamayo emphasized the value of teamwork in raising service standards.
“We thank the Department of Tourism for this initiative, which enables us to provide the highest level of service and ensures that the Philippines remains globally competitive,” Tamayo stated.
In order to maintain and grow training programs, DG Captain Tamayo disclosed that the CAAP and DoT will continue to collaborate closely, underlining the Philippines’ standing as one of the world’s top travel destinations, renowned for its warmth and first-rate service.
