St. Luke's Medical Center (SLMC) in Quezon City launched on Friday, 21 February, its new Cancer Specialty Center in a bid to advance its cancer care. 

According to SLMC, the center brings together multidisciplinary teams of experts dedicated to specific cancer types, ensuring that patients receive precise, timely, and tailored treatment from diagnosis through survivorship.

The Cancer Specialty Center at the Cancer Institute of SLMC Quezon City is designed to provide comprehensive and compassionate care by bringing together leading experts in various fields of oncology.

The SLMC Quezon City Cancer Specialty Center offers specialized care for the following cancer types:

• Bone malignancies and sarcoma

• Neuroendocrine tumors

• Lymphoma

• Breast cancer

• Thoracic malignancies

• Colorectal cancer

• Hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers

The center features a triage clinic for initial assessment and navigation, dedicated family conferences, and specialty clinics where multidisciplinary teams collaborate on patient cases.
