The Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) is expanding its connectivity with a new route between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
The maiden flight is scheduled for 2 May 2025, with flights operating three times a week.
“We welcome PAL's exciting news with much delight,” said Athanasios Titonis, CEO of AboitizInfraCapital Cebu Airport Corporation (ACAC). “This development is all about providing passengers with wider travel options and more convenience, which we totally support,” he added.
MCIA recently introduced direct flights to Vietnam's largest city via flag carrier Philippine Airlines.
Currently, MCIA offers 26 direct international flights to destinations including Japan (Osaka, Narita), South Korea (Incheon, Busan), Shanghai (China), and Bangkok (Thailand).
