CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Two coffins stopped traffic at the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) on Tuesday night.
According to a viral FB post by Noel Luartes, traffic occurred as the two coffins occupied up the two lanes of the expressway around 7 p.m. of Tuesday. He added that he and his family were on their way home to Pulilan when they saw the two coffins at the NLEX Viaduct.
He cited that the vehicles in front of him were braking, prompting him to slow down as well. His child said, “May nalaglag daddy. Mukhang may nalaglag.”
When their vehicle arrived at the area where the incident occurred, they saw two coffins. “Vinideohan na ng anak ko,” he added.
According to reports, the two coffins were brand new and were supposed to be delivered to Marikina when the rope tying the two coffins loosened and fell from the top of a closed van.
