A 24-year-old male drug peddler, listed as the top four most wanted person by the Eastern Police District, was arrested in Quezon City on Friday during their Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations.
Reports revealed that the suspect had previously been arrested for a similar offense involving illegal drugs.
He had evaded authorities for over a year after failing to attend a scheduled court hearing while under probation.
Intel-driven operations showed that the suspect frequently moved between Pasay City, Pangasinan and Quezon City to avoid detention.
After a series of surveillance and intensive monitoring, operatives gathered information that led to the suspect’s arrest along Commonwealth Avenue corner Kalayaan Street, Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
The suspect, identified as alias “Anthony,” was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued on 2 December 2024 by Judge Sheryll Tulabing of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 68.
The suspect is currently detained at the San Juan City Police Station custodial facility while awaiting further legal proceedings.
